Have you ever wanted to direct a play but didn't know where to start? Here is a one-day workshop that will get you started. Through the workshop, you will gain practical skills needed to direct a play. Here are some of the topics that will be covered:

• Stage picture and balance

• Visual metaphor

• Pre-blocking and blocking

• Actor feedback

• Developing characters

The workshop will give participants opportunities to work with actors to practice blocking scenes from plays. Th​rough blocking the scenes and revising them from feedback, actors will experience a little of the rehearsal process.
