a new kind of community theatre
Do you love to act? Do you live in central Jersey and need something to do on a Saturday night? Are a teenager looking for acting classes? An office worker seeking a creative outlet?
Welcome to the Dragonfly Multicultural Arts Center. We're a new kind of community theatre.
We believe in quality productions, compensation for artists and craftspeope, and an organization that straddles--no, erases--the line between community and professional theatre. We're here for pre- and post-Equity actors; for actors who were unable to pursue acting full-time; for audiences hungry for quality entertainment without having to go to New York; and for students and educators who see the performing arts as the best way to learn.
Dragonfly is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit cultural organization, registered with the State of New Jersey and the Internal Revenue Service.
We're just starting out, so we're small, but we have big dreams. Please click around this website to learn more about us, and feel free to contact us if you have any questions!
